Why am I building now?

I've been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember. When I was four, I'd pick flowers from other people's yards and sell them door to door.
My parents were not thrilled.
That instinct grew up. Fifteen years building people and culture in mission-driven tech.
In 2020, my otherwise healthy partner Christian was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer.
I never saw that coming.
He passed away less than three years later.

Learning to hold complexity, honor my nervous system's need to rest, and build something anyway — that's what grief taught me.
Grief made me ask a harder question: who builds systems that protect people when their lives fall apart?
What I believe is this: when women lead and invest, things get better.
We already know this.
Women-founded startups generate more revenue per dollar invested.
BCG / MassChallenge
Companies in the top quartile for gender-diverse leadership are more likely to financially outperform.
McKinsey, 2023
By 2030, women will control 38% of U.S. investable assets.
McKinsey, 2024

And I'm building a tool for women rebuilding after loss. Something that protects them in the moments most products overlook.
More soon.
If you're building in this space, investing in women-led tools, or just want to think out loud, I'd love to get to know you.
